Emerson's Hazy
I haven't been too impressed with the hazies from the craft-breweries-now-owned-by-big-corporations (CBNOBCs, pronounced cub-knob-bucks) with both Tuatara and Panhead having drinkable but average selections, and neither being particularly typical for a NEIPA. I'm not a massive fan of NEIPA/Hazies, but a real good one (like say Brain Smiles from Behemoth or Sabotage by Bonehead) `can be mind blowing. Emerson's have pulled off a reasonably decent one, with a nice big whaff of hops, a decent kind of wheaty body (don't know if they used oats or not, the kind creamy luscious body of an amazing NEIPA from a good oat-ing isn't quite there). There is a nice bittering, nore probably than there "should" be for a NEIPA, but personally I like that. So overall it's not amazingly amazing, but it far exceeded my expectations for a CBNOBC hazy, and was very drinkable and delicious.
