Moa Dry Hopped Pilsner

One of the cheaper semi-craft beers available, this is another beer from Moa that uses new German hops, despite being right in the centre of the best hop growing region in the world and having such amazing hops at their doorstep. This is a nice beer, instantly recognisable as a pilsner, and the Motueka hops do shine giving it a bit of a kiwi craft beer feel. The "dry hop" that is in the title of the beer isn't particularly prominent, I did get a tiny hop aroma, but had to search pretty hard to convince myself. It does have that slightly earthy grit of a German Pils, which I enjoyed and made it a decent Pils in my opinion.

It didn't pour particularly clear for a pilsner, but it had a nice clean body being very dry but still carrying a decent punch of malt - that classic light but heavy feel of a Pilsner.

Overall not one of the best Pilsners from NZ's amazing range, but bang for buck and a fair bit better than anything else you can get this cheap.
