Cassels Woolston Pale Ale

Exactly my kind of pale ale, where the malt as almost as good as the hops. Nice, delicious (but not overwhelming) distinctively NZ hop notes from the first whiff when the bottle is opened, through the big punch of flavour and the slight lingering bitterness. And perfectly balanced with a nice sweetness, a slightest toffee (again which you can get just on the smell) flavour and decent body. Like a blast from the past - this is what the perfect craft beers used to taste like when I first started drinking craft beers some time early in the millenium. This guy is truly great, and I can't fault a thing.

I also love that they've used the local town in the name of the beer.
