Lakeman Hairy Metal Hazy IPA
This was an interesting, very different, yet somehow similar to Lakeman's Purple Haze Hazey IPA (yep that has an E in hazey, this one doesn't...); both very good. Neither really screamed NEIPA to me, but I definitely preferred this one.
The hazy wheaty oaty flavours weren't particularly strong with this beer, but the hop flavours were huge. There was a slight bitterness, and it all came together very nicely, feeling like a big beer with a decent body (just not a typical NEIPA body) and a huge hop coverage to make it a star.
