Yeastie Boys White Noise White Beer

I'm not quite sure what this beer was meant to be. Described as a "white ale" and "white beer" I was thinking it would be like a Witbier, but it wasn't. The Yeastie Boys website says it pours a "cloudy pale straw" colour, but the two cans I got poured a fairly much crystal clear golden colour. No pungent wheat beer yeast flavours (Belgian or German), and no real hint of wheat or alternate grains either. No real hop notes (as per the description), but I also didn't get a whole lot of the vanilla, coconut or orange blossom that they advertised. There was a slight sweet note but that's about it. Overall a bit disappointing especially from Yeastie Boys who usually overwhelm with flavours!
