Whistling Sisters IPA
The maltiest IPA I've had in ages, with a huge chewy caramel richness that I reckon was more of a star than the hops. The hops were yum too, though, with a really deep rich bittering and a sneaky tropical and citrus character coming through (a very NZ hop taste I thought). A nice IPA showcasing the bitterness more than the aroma of NZ hops (unlike most IPAs), but the most impressive thing by far was the complex speciality malt profile. Yum!
