Tuatara Aotearoa Pale Ale

I like the story behind this beer. Tuatara had an award winning American pale ale, but there was a raging fire through the hops warehouse so no US hops were available all of a sudden, do they tried to recreate the beer using all locally grown hops, and turns out they created something better than the original, and perhaps created or at least popularised the NZ pale ale (pity the name Aotearoa Pale Ale never really took off... or maybe they wanted it to be that way?).

One of the first NZ craft beers I started drinking when I moved here over 10 years ago, this guy has a big bitterness, hints of delicious NZ hops giving off grapefruit, citrus and other unlabellable delicious flavours, a slight sweetness and specialty malt deepness coming through, for an overall well rounded beer full of flavour.
