Lakeman Taupō Thunder NZPA
I love everything about this beer. It smells great with a decent NZ hop waft and a hint of the speciality malts coming out - the kind of waft that tells you a decent pint is coming. A big hoppy flavour with a relatively light body, but not so light that's it's unbalanced. A decent bitterness follows, leaving you know you've had a good NZ beer full of flavour but very sessionable. I could drink it all day... In fact I might.
ABV: 5.7%

Wife check: "I don't really like it, I think it tastes like a lager. But it doesn't smell like a lager."
Drinking Song: We're not gonna take it by Twisted Sister (has anyone heard the new version by Dee Snider?)
