Lakeman Hopadelic IPA

I do quite like that trial hop 4337 (the only other beer that I've tasted it in was a homebrew white IPA; a completely different beer, but there was one little flavour that was common). This was a nice IPA really well balanced with a decent but not overwhelming bitterness, decent but not overwhelming hoppy aroma (with a slightly different to usual flavour from the trial hop... I want to say gooseberry but somehow different to Nelson Sauvin) and a good complexity of the malts driving it all home. Overall came together really well and was very drinkable.

ABV: 7.5%
Brewery: Lakeman
Region: Taupō
Style: IPA
Wife check: "It's definitely bitter but I'm not getting a big hit of flavour out of it."
Drinking Song: Jolene by Darcy Clay
