8 Wired Yes Sensei Punchy APA

Always love a good Karate Kid throwback. This was an enjoyable beer, but not too typical for an APA. The hops character gave nice citrusy notes, but not huge distinctly US hop aromas. There was a real strong bitterness present too, perhaps more than expected for an APA. Underneath all that was a delicate sweetness and light malty character not really enough to balance the big bitterness. 

Nice beer overall, but a bit unbalanced and not really what I would think of as an APA.
