Yeastie Boys Black Noise Black Ale
A nice clean and light (in body nqot colour!) dark ale with some slightly odd adjuncts more characteristic of a Witbier (which I loooove) than a dark beer, that are really complimented the dark beer far more than I was expecting. I think the dark beer flavours come in just shy of really good, but what's missing in the roasty-toastiness of the malt is more than made up for by the orange zest, and while the chamomile is not specifically noteable (a good thing; it should be subtle) I think it's presence does add a slight twist on the overall flavour that ties in nicely. There is some element of a nice roasty flavour over the top and a hint of chocolatey-coffee that comes with that (not enough to get a fat lady Terry's chocolate orange vibe though). Very nice and drinkable.
I didn't realise I hadn't taken a photo, and already crushed the can, so this photo is an un-crushed can, whoops.

Wife check: "It's very fizzy and very thin. There's some flavours but I don't know what they are."
