Behemoth Something Hoppy IPA

This beer was both memorable and not. It's very much a very standard, typical craft IPA from NZ (American hops, so not an "NZ IPA"). Looks great, smells great, tastes great. Real bloody yum to be fair. Good for everything that an IPA from a New Zealand craft brewery should be. Yet in some way that I can't quite put into words it was very memorable and just a bit yummer than your typical IPA. Loaded with hops as it's name would suggest, and a real yum malt base, approaching chewy caramellness, but not quite getting there (in a good way) it was just a very yum beer. If I was only ever allowed to drink one beer for eternity, it would be something much like this. For me, this kind of a beer is what it's all about.

ABV: 5.9%
Brewery: Behemoth Brewing
Region: Auckland
Style: American IPA
Wife check: "Mmmm that's beautiful! Super Hoppy, what brand is it?"
