Tuatara IPA
One might consider Tuatara IPA a staple of NZ craft beer. One of the older newer IPAs, from one of the first big small breweries. Crack the top and it hits you with a very welcoming hoppy whiff, encouraging a nice mindful deep breath in. Pours crystal clear and golden yeller with a good head.
Tastes good; a good hit of bitter, a nice NZ hoppy flavour with hints of all sorts of crap and what not (sorry writer's block today). The body isn't huge, with not too much malty character coming through; I guess more characteristic of the modern IPA than the traditional IPA. Overall a nice easy drinking beer (although caution at 6.1%!) with a good smattering of hopfulness.

Wife check: "Smells good! Hoppy... citrusy? Hmm, tastes a bit bitter for me, and not much body."
