Brew Union Ripper Pale Ale

Dropped right to my door during lockdown, this stuff was delicious. A big NZ hop aroma swooped out of the bottle with the ksssht as I cracked the lid. It poured a beautiful amber colour with the slightest haze, and a good head. Again, I think I better mention it smelt bloody great.

Tasted amazing, nice big bold hop flavour, not overly bitter, good solid malt flavour and overall perfectly balanced and a well rounded delicious beer. Kind of typical for the NZ pale ale of today, but one of the better ones I've had in a while. Should've got a bigger flagon.

ABV: 5.2%
Brewery: Brew Union
Region: Palmerston North
Style: NZ Pale Ale
Wife check: "I dunno, I just think it's really yummy."
