Sawmill Brewery XPA
Extra pale ale is something I never thought would work - go light on the malt but heavy on the hops seems to go against the conventional concept of balance with hoppy beers (the exact opposite of a big thick syrupy double/imperial IPA); but this is another example of exactly how to do it right.
A really nice hoppy beer full of fruity aromas and what I assume is some combination of American and NZ big aroma hops, but in a light, crisp and easy drinking hot summer's day beer. Yum. One of the few very hoppy beers I actually prefer straight out of the bottle than a glass.
