Kaiser Brothers APA
Don't find too many South Island beers (other than Emmersons and Moa) in the North Island, so I always get excited finding a beer from a South Island brewery I don't know.
A nice APA, although fairly uncharacteristic for a kiwi APA. I found the yeast flavour a bit stronger than usual, and the aroma hops a bit mellow but with a big bitterness, and the malt fairly forward (I'd usually expect a big aroma hops, fairly moderate malt and almost no yeast flavour). Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it, but just wasn't quite what I was expecting for an APA.
