Te Aro APA
Open source beer is a cool idea, the first commercial beer I've seen with a full recipe available.
Nice choice of hops, none of which I'm particularly familiar with - Pacific Jade, Falconer's Fight and Mosaic, but for an APA I found the bitterness and aroma profile a little reversed - I would have liked it a bit less bitter and a bit of a bigger flavour. I like the amber golden colour; the malt flavour is reasonably subdued, a tiny hint of sweetness and (trying hard not to sound like a wanker) maybe a touch of toffee on the nose; but the toffee and crystal malts don't come through quite like I thought they might. Also had a bit of a bitter grassy bitter hops aftertaste which wasn't particularly pleasant.
