Behemoth Hopportunity Double IPA
I love a good douple/imperial IPA. A real assault on the senses, the beautiful sound of opening a can (kshhhhhhh-t), followed by a big bang whiff of hops. More beautiful audio as you pour it into the glass, and now the eyes get involved watching a nice head develop and appreciating the amber colour. Finally the (now dripping) mouth gets a turn as you pour it down. Just as a good double IPA should, this had almost a chewiness to it with huge malt characters hidden away under the massive hoppy bliss. And lets not forget touch, with a nice cold, sizzling sparkle on the tongue. Huge in every way, engaging all five senses, and far too easy to drink for an 8% ABV beer. A perfect example of the style.
