Sawmill Brewery Pilsner
First of all, I really dig the label. It's kind of says class, with just a slight touch of hipster (while most NZ beers have it the other way around).
I'm on a bit of a Pilsner tasting mission at the moment (in preparation for brewing an NZ Pilsner), and this is an NZ Pilsner with all NZ ingredients, but yet delivers quite a subtle finish. I did a taste before reading the label, and could definitely place it as a Pilsner, but couldn't quite figure if they were going for a Czech, German or NZ style Pilsner. And I don't mean to say that in a bad way, this was an easily drinkable delicious beer with a notable but subtle malt flavour, a notable but kind of subtle hop bitterness and a notable but subtle hop aroma. Crystal clear, and very clean and crisp to drink. Lighter in body and flavour than most Pilsners, but still packing a good amount of flavour and a lovely clean enjoyable drop.

Wife check: "Hmm I like that, just a really nice easy drinking beer. Not very hoppy or super flavoursome, but I like it."
