Boneface Brewing Co Hoptron APA

Mmmm yum. What a beer. I think it's probably my favourite beer at the moment, just a tiny touch more yum than its neighbour Panhead's APA. This particular bottle was also a gift with a bit of a hearty sentiment behind it but that's beside the point.

Full of hops, the description says stone fruit and citrus, which I don't really get, bit I definitely get fruity, big whopping aroma, buttloads of flavour and a nice mouthful of flavour that lasts. The malt is well done for a pale ale in that there's no real notable malt flavours punching through but at the same time there's a real good balance for the massive hoppiness (that really results in happiness).

I think this is a beer that shouldn't really be over analysed, and just summarised as a delicious perfectly balanced hoppy APA, the epitome of what most pale ales aim for.

Yum.
